Realis Real Estate Software came to Metzger with a challenge to rebrand and reposition itself as a leading software company in the real estate industry. Formerly named REO Maestro, the old branding exclusively focused on the real estate-owned (REO) property market. Ready to expand within the real estate industry, Realis underwent a complete re-branding and needed Metzger’s help to expand awareness beyond their contacts in this niche market.
After conducting extensive research on the company and software competitors in the greater real estate software market, Metzger developed a strategic plan focusing on three different areas to effectively re-brand the company for a wider audience:
- Thought Leadership: We executed thought-leadership outreach to focus on executive expertise through comment releases, contributed articles and industry blogger outreach.
- Case Studies: Metzger interviewed current Realis software users and created several case studies to prove the benefits of the software. We then updated the messaging and copy of all online and print media kit materials to include these case studies.
- Industry Presence: Metzger researched and recommended top real estate conferences, speaking opportunities and industry awards and began getting Realis experts involved. Since the real estate industry is heavily weighed by referrals, increased presence at events and award recognition resulted in more business for the company.
The three components listed above have lead to a strong increase in industry brand awareness for Realis. Company branding is an ongoing process, but just after six months of conducting aggressive media relations, presenting engaging and ROI-focused case studies and industry presence at large events, Realis has taken huge strides and has set a strategic path for future marketing and company growth.
