Plato’s Closet

Metzger began work with Plato’s Closet in the cities of Cheyenne, Fort Collins, Littleton and Colorado Springs, with the goal of creating a larger and more engaged online presence, while differentiating the four stores from others in the market.

Metzger approached this account by first strategically evaluating the current market and examining Plato’s Closet’s local presence and local competitors. As a result of our research, we decided to build a plan to significantly increase the store’s online presence through multiple online and social platforms. This included increasing the Facebook following, building four separate Twitter accounts (one for each store), creating two fashion blog posts per month, launching a Foursquare program, and monitoring and responding to both negative and positive reviews on several review sites.

After only six months, the Plato’s Closet programs for the Cheyenne, Fort Collins, Littleton and Colorado Springs stores have resulted in increased foot traffic to the store due to Metzger featuring products on the four pages daily. Additionally, we have seen increased interest in store specials and large sales, and a deeper understanding of the local Plato’s Closet customer base and their needs.
