I am an account executive at Metzger Associates where I develop, execute and carefully evaluate online and traditional communications programs for clients in industries ranging from healthcare, fashion, beauty and high-technology.

I have developed social media campaigns, public relations programs and marketing plans for large community hospitals and hospital chains, Waxing the City, Plato’s Closet, and various software companies. I have a keen understanding of media relations, online brand management, strategic content creation and social media.

Shortly before joining Metzger, I was selected to be one of 15 social media specialists to be on the NBC Olympic Twitter Project as a moderator for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. As part of this team, I was responsible for moderating the fan-generated content appearing on NBCOlympics.com and provided live content for three separate Twitter handles representing NBC. My experience also includes a marketing position at Denver’s Westword newspaper where I planned and promoted events as well as managed all social media content and distribution. I began my career at a traditional public relations agency where I worked on high technology clients and learned the basics of media relations, strategic public relations and integrated communications programs.

I earned a bachelors of science in Journalism at Northern Arizona University and a masters in Public Relations and Marketing from the University of Denver.
